Lisa has worked in various FE and HE institutions in academic development roles. In 2020, she was seconded from her role at QMU as an Effective Learning Adviser to establish ELTI.

Gill Turner
ELTI Strategic Lead

Gill has worked in FE teaching media-related subjects and latterly was the Curriculum Manager at Newbattle Abbey College. She joined the team in 2022 to explore the future of tutoring in Scotland and ELTI’s role in this. 

Claire Marsland
ELTI Project Coordinator

Claire is a qualified social worker and previously worked in statutory criminal justice settings. She joined the ELTI team in 2021 to coordinate tutoring delivery across East and Midlothian.

Marina, a PhD student at Edinburgh University, joined the team in 2021.
