ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Easter Study Days

In 2022 and 2023, ELTI offered pupils (both engaged with ELTI or that met ELTI's eligibility criteria) the opportunity to attend additional tutoring sessions after the second 10-week block tutoring had finished. During the Easter break, ELTI set up a week of on campus sessions at QMU where pupils were able to attend several tutoring and study sessions on each of the days that they wanted to attend.

Additional online sessions were also provided for those who preferred it.

Post-Easter provision

Additionally, in 2022 and 2023, ELTI was able to offer pupils engaged in tutoring the opportunity to receive additional sessions to prepare for their assessments/exams after the Easter break.

Summer Activity Week

In 2021, 2022 and 2023, pupils were given the opportunity to join tutors at QMU for a week of activities that revolved around developing new skills and exploring different pathways available to them once they leave school. During the week, pupils worked in groups with both ELTI tutors and PALS (Peer Assisted Learning Scheme) leaders, participated in workshops, took part in forest school, and attended a careers fair.
